Our story
Where we started
Before Woven Rituals was created, we were Haus of Satya.
It took nearly three years to refine the vision of supporting our community after small businesses took a hit in 2020. The goal was to host wellness and creative workshops, highlighting local artists and teachers. It was the bridge between those who needed earn money by utilizing their skills and those who wanted to learn something new. From January 2023 to December 2024, we connected over 30 small businesses, over 20 local teachers, and hosted over 300 guests. Our most beloved event was Revival Retreat, an entire day of self-care exploration featuring local vendors, teachers, and Djs. In just two years, costs soared for everything and paying venue prices while prioritizing fair pay for teachers meant less profit for us. Overwhelm was easily found in the auto-pilot of daily life and the thoughtless doom-scroll took over. The burn out was real!
This is where the real evolution took place. By taking a step back in the business world, the need for a slower lifestyle became painfully evident. Slowing down with Earth during winter truly restored the passion that had been lost among the algorithm-chase. And this is where something more authentic and nourishing came into vision - Woven Rituals was born.
What is Woven Rituals?
Woven: Community skills, knowledge, and efforts united. The utilization of diverse materials in goods. The connection of the integrated practices that nourish us.
Rituals: The practices we follow daily or throughout the seasons that help us feel deeply grounded, nourished, and at peace.
This is the place to slow down and get back to the roots of our true human nature. We are chasing a new (and old) way of life, where the shifting of the seasons orchestrates our daily life. Where warmth and a slower pace is embraced in winter, and spring offers us abundant flowers for our herbal teas and a lovely bouquet for our tables. Gatherings are created to welcome in the new season and monthly-released goods are handcrafted using materials like linen, clay, and plants. We invite you to explore this new vision alongside us, and thank you for being here.
